FAQ

How do I clean my handwash only knit item?

See care instruction page here.

What do I do if my wool item is starting to pill?

No matter how nice the wool is in which you wear, over time and over washing it will start to pill. Some don't mind the "hair" that wool friction creates over time. If you want to preserve the newness look of the item, simply run over it with a sweater shaver. I purchased mine at target, but you can get them on Amazon for a low price as well. It will clean up any of the "halo" effect or pilling that occurs.

Do you take custom orders?

Absolutely! Please feel free to browse my social media for past creations on inspiration. Shoot me a message and I am happy discuss pattern, and color options for you.

You can customize it for sizing, pattern, color, color of the pom, whatever you would like.

What is the turn-around time on custom orders?

Varies depending on my current queue of custom orders and upcoming art fairs/markets. Please contact me to get the most accurate turn-around timeline for my availability on custom orders. Occasionally I can get to it right away unless i'm pretty backed up it may take a couple weeks, but I always prioritize best that I am able.

I have a very large head, will your beanies fit?

It depends on the pattern used and the yarn. Every hat fits each head a little differently. My beanies are knit to fit an average 22" head and smaller, but some beanies have a little more give than others.
If you have a large head and are concerned about a specific beanie that you are looking at purchasing shoot me a message and I am happy discuss if that particular beanie is a good option or create a custom order for you if necessary to your size.

I have a very small head, will your beanies fit?

They should! My beanies fit an average adult sized head which is 20-22". I hear this a lot and have never had anyone with a small head have issues fitting into a variety of my beanies. If you have concern over a specific beanie fitting a small head, please reach out to you and I am happy to discuss if that one fits or if I would need to create a custom order for you.

Do you create items for babies or small children?

Unfortunately, no. I enjoy knitting beautiful items for adults. There are many knitters in the market who take pride and joy in creating items for infants and children and am happy to make referrals if needed. Under some circumstances I may accommodate a chunky knit child's beanie as a special order upon request, but I do not carry any children's items other than the knotty ponies in stock or at my events.

How do I know when your next event is?

I often post these on social media or reach out to my subscription list via email. If you cannot find what you are looking for do not hesitate to reach out and inquire.
